Electrical Engineer

Design, develop, document and test electronic systems, components and circuits in Midmark equipment or machinery.
Independently evaluate, select, and apply engineering techniques, procedures and criteria, using judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
Lead assignments directed by specific instructions, objectives, complex features and unusual acceptance criteria.
Analyze system requirements, customer needs, regulatory and standard compliance, device safety, device usability and cost with cost-functional consideration.
Design and test electrical devices and systems.
Document confidential descriptions and specifications of proprietary hardware and software, product development and introduction schedules, product costs, and information about product performance weaknesses.
Provide technical guidance on moderate to complex problems.
Advise cross functional team in the compliance to the regulatory norms and standards of the assignments.
Influence the improvement of product development methods and techniques.
Provides mentoring to co-ops and interns.
Increase knowledge in aspects of electronics engineering.
Recommend and implement improvements to Midmark functional processes.
Contribute to the product roadmap with regard to technical trends.
Bachelor's degree preferred. At least 3 years of experience in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
Proficient in the subject matter or the functional areas of the assignments and influence the project team for the best practices related to that area.
Knowledgeable of the fundamental theory and the practical application of engineering science and technology.
Ability to apply principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of medical devices and services.
Familiar with FDA practices and some of the medical compliance approaches for Canada, European Union, and other markets where Midmark sells products.
Ability to problem solve and think critically.
Familiar with system analysis, operation analysis, system evaluation, and quality control analysis.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Expert in tools used in the development of electrical components and systems in Midmark.
Proficient with productivity tools.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
